Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Fieldman and Computor (Contractual) under the ‘Cost of Cultivation Scheme’ sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India. Intending candidates may apply in Prescribed Form and submit the same along with all supporting documents so as to reach the office of the undersigned on or before September 18th, 2017. A. Name of the post: Fieldman
No. of Post: 2 (two)
Essential Qualification:
(i)  Graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a Govt. recognized University.
(ii) PGDCA/DCA of 1 year duration from reputed institute.
Pay Scale:  Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 3,300
Nature of post: Regular
  
B. Name of the post: Computor
No. of Post:  1 (one)
Essential Qualification :

(i) Graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a Govt. recognized University.
(ii) PGDCA from reputed institute.
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- (Consolidated)
Nature of post: Contractual

Note:
1. The posts are under the Govt. of India Scheme entitled, “Comprehensive Scheme for Studying the Cost of Cultivation of Principal Crops in India” and are co-terminus with the Scheme.
2. Mere possessing the required qualification will not make a candidate eligible for the post. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/written test.
3. No TA/DA will be borne by the centre for appearing in the test/interview, if called for.
4. Maximum age limit will be 38 years as on 01st January 2017, which is relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved category as per rules.
5. In service candidates should apply through proper channel.
6. The service of the regular position will be governed by CPF rules till the implementation of the New Pension Scheme (NPS).
7. Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order amounting Rs.300/- in case of General/OBC candidates and Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST candidates must accompany the application form in favour of “Director, Cost of Cultivation Scheme, AAU, Jorhat” along with self attested copies of other supporting documents are to be submitted to the Director, Cost of Cultivation Scheme, Assam Agricultural University campus, Jorhat-13, Assam on or before the cut of date, i.e. 18th September, 2017.
8. Incomplete application/non submission of requisite documents and applications received late will summarily be rejected.
9. Reservation: One post of Fieldman is reserved for ST (P) and the other is for ST (H) respectively while the post of Computer is unreserved.
10. Self-addressed stamped (Worth Rs. 6/-) envelope, Size-23cm X 10cm should be sent along with the application form.
11. Canvassing in any form will lead to rejection of candidature.
